Bill is a Principal Consultant for PAS responsible for the alarm management work processes products, intellectual property, and software product direction. He is a voting member of the ISA SP-18 Alarm Management committee and co-author of The Alarm Management Handbook (and the ISA version of the same book, Alarm Management: Seven Effective Methods for Optimum Performance). Bill has many years of chemical industry experience with focus in project management, chemical production, and DCS control systems.

Bill holds a Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and an MBA from the University of Houston. He is a pilot and builds furniture (and the occasional log home in the Ozarks) as a hobby.

Dana Oliver

Dana is a Principal HMI Consultant at PAS. He has multi-company, international experience in all aspects of HMI. At PAS, Dana is responsible for the HMI work processes, intellectual property, and project implementations. He is a voting member of the ISA SP-101 HMI standards committee.

Rowse's Discovering Shakespeare. In the new edition, the emphasis is on more recent "lives" of Shakespeare, with information culled from such diverse sources as E.A.J. Honigmann's Shakespeare: The "Lost Years" and Richard Ellmann's Oscar Wilde (Wilde's Portrait of Mr W.H. advanced his theory of the Sonnets in fictional form). Besides fanciful theories such as Wilde's, Schoenbaum covers those who have used blatant forgery to construct an imaginary Shakespeare, such as W.H. Ireland and J.P. Collier (the latter would occasionally add his own verse to the Shakespeare canon), and those who have attempted elaborate argumentation to establish the identity of Shakespearean characters (A.L. Rowse claimed to have identified the elusive "Dark Lady" of the Sonnets). From Ben Jonson, whose celebratory verse opens the First Folio of Shakespeare's complete works (published seven years after his death), to Malcolm X, who denied the existence of a historical Shakespeare, Shakespeare's Lives considers virtually the entire legacy of idolatry, heresy, and speculation.
As before, Schoenbaum submits the documentary record of Shakespeare's life to careful consideration. Like a literary detective, he reconstructs as much of the elusive author's life as possible, considering his family history, his economic standing, and his reputation with his peers. The Shakespeare who emerges may not always be the familiar one (he was less vaunted by his contemporaries than we usually believe, for example), but all of Schoenbaum's claims are exquisitely documented.
Even in this revised and abridged version, Schoenbaum's narrative leaves hardly a stone unturned--from Samuel Johnson, Samuel Coleridge, and Alexander Pope to twentieth-century writers like James Joyce, E.K. Chambers, and Anthony Burgess (whose popular life of Shakespeare appeared the same year as the first edition of Schoenbaum's book). Curiousity about Shakespeare has not subsided since the original version of this classic appeared. This new edition will make the latest lives of Shakespeare available to a whole new generation of the Bard's fanatical followers.

Gave this as a gift for an 8 yr old girl. I purchased a stamp pad set also ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FOD2NU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00 ), and a set of dual thickness washable markers. There were plenty of ideas in this book to get all the kids creative juices flowing and they were immediately applying their own artistic license to their wonderful creations. It was a huge hit, and Mom loved it too. I loved the fact that it encourages creativity and thinking outside of the box, and lets kids be kids.

My children (7 and 4 years old) LOVE this book! It is really catered to young children as the pictures are simple for them to follow. They use it independently for HOURS! And their drawings come out so cute. This book also has helped them to learn to create new creations because they have learned to experiment on their own. Even better, I have fun making these creations with the kids. It's so fun to transform your finger print into an animal or person and to see the happiness in your children's faces when they proudly show your their drawings is priceless! =) One of the best purchases I have made for arts and crafts - would highly recommend to anyone who have young children (and adults who are kids at heart) in their lives!

This is the most adorable book I've seen in a long time. What a great way to teach creative art.I bought this for a 7-year old girl, but I think kids 9 and up would find it more useful.Nevertheless, she has done some pictures following the drawings.I thought about getting a book for myself. As an adult, I view it more as a springboard to make one's own creations.Colored stamp pads (preferably washable!) are a necessary accessory.

I used these books extensively when I was teaching all grades kindergarten through fifth. My students always loved them and spent hours drawing clever, creative pictures. I recently bought these again for my grandchildren. Another immediate success. They spent hours, and I’m sure will spend many more hours making fingerprints and creating marvelous pictures.

Absolutely loved this book. As a wannabee artist, I am always looking for ways to express myself with technique at the level of a 6 year old or thereabouts TaDa! Emberley's book with its simple diagrams and fun ideas. I even persuaded my spouse who was sick and grumpy to join me for an art sessio. That was really an accomplishment.

I am giving this book 5 stars because the book itself is amazing. I had to order this book 3 different times and each time it did not come with the stamp pad as it states in the description. Be weary ordering from Amazon because you will not get what is described. Brought this and an inkpad along for a beach vacation - it was a huge hit! My five-year-old covered pages with her critters (and then added houses and furniture and trees for them), my two-year-old loved making tons of fingerprints and seeing someone else add the features, my high-school sister did a few critters when she needed a break from her chemistry review, and everyone else tried it at least once. We even used them to decorate a letter to our great-aunt who could not be with us. Fabulous buy and I'll never travel without it

I have given this as a gift 3 times now with a multicolor inkpad from Michaels, $4 with coupon. I hope they like it. I am getting custom stamps made so I don't have use my own fingerprints which is much harder than it may seem at the beginning. These custom rubber stamps are the most expensive item!
